Rediscover your confidence and natural beauty when you treat yourself to collagen induction therapy at Hexstyle Beauty.

Collagen Induction Therapy, also called ‘microneedling’, is a minimally invasive procedure meant to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This technique has been shown to help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and stretch marks while refining the skin’s overall texture, tone, and coloration.

Prior to treatment, a numbing cream is applied to ensure a painless procedure. Using an advanced medical-grade handheld device, tiny punctures are made in the skin to create microscopic channels. The skin recognizes these channels as tissue loss and begins to produce collagen and elastin to repair and fill the channels we create.

During the procedure, hydrating hyaluronic acid is applied. The micro-channels created in your skin allow the hyaluronic acid to travel deeper into the skin’s layers.

As microneedling triggers a repair response in your skin, we recommend a downtime of 24-48 hours to allow your skin to heal. After treatment, you may notice some redness. This response is normal and should subside within 24 hours.

Microneedling is safe on all parts of the body including face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and back. Because the epidermis remains intact, the procedure can be safely repeated. It is generally recommended that microneedling be completed in a series of three to five treatments every 4-6 weeks.

Treatment add-ons, including dermaplaning, may be incorporated to physically exfoliate your skin’s top layer and enhance absorption.

** Fitzpatrick skin types V-VI should consult with an experienced practitioner prior to undergoing microneedling procedures.
